The ever-popular Emerald Hill Group is ensuring the newly-revamped Sentosa will be well worth visiting, as COASTES (pronounced 舛oasts・ provides a fresh new concept in beachfront cool.

Situated along Siloso Beach Walk, COASTES・three distinct sections are the ingredients for an incredibly versatile venue. From families wanting weekend fun and couples seeking dreamy calm, to executives needing a post-work chill and the club crowd looking to party in paradise ・there痴 truly something for everyone.

Appealing to the aspiring beach-boy or babe, the first section is a Carlsberg beer bar, serving icy cool bottled beers in large portable buckets ・as well as a quality range of house-pour spirits and mixed drinks.

Bringing the beach indoors, this relaxed sandy-floored rendezvous is housed in the smaller of the two shacks located on the deck. The heavy wooden table just outside is perfect for party buffets or dining with friends.

In the next shack, the heart of COASTES is quite different from the casual beer bar. Oozing an ambience of relaxed elegance・ the atmosphere is far more intimate for lovers seeking a sensual sunset or couples looking to enjoy the evening ocean breeze in each other痴 company. Inspired by the cocktail bars of the Caribbean, where rum-based coolers dominate the drink list, cocktails will be kept ice-cold for customers ・leaving them free to lay back and look hot.

And the al fresco area marks playtime for kids and adults alike ・complete with beach toys by day, and beach romance by night. Daytime sees a large playground set with buckets & spades to build sand castles laid on for the youngsters (and the young at heart). But nighttime sees a transformation into a play area for adults ・offering dinner by the beach or for those so inclined, a romantic quiet moment in the double hammocks between the swaying coconut palms.

Much of COASTES・versatility as a venue stems from its well-designed d馗or. With its majestic wooden deck flowing onto the luxurious sand, its ambience is all about the fun, free and easy lifestyle from being on the beach. Natural materials, like wood and bamboo, ensure harmony with the environment, but cushions and chaise lounges guarantee the chic comfort one expects from Emerald Hill Group. Bamboo tables with umbrellas, and 祖abana・style sun-lounges can be enjoyed by day all along the deck and up to the water痴 edge, right under the swaying coconut trees. But evenings see these transformed into cushioned bench seats with low tables for groups to gather around.

And having one痴 very own day or night-time beach party has never been easier. Arrangements can be made for guests to be picked up from Emerald Hill and be transported to COASTES at Sentosa. From beach barbeques, a clam bake or satay feast, or even to simply to boogie till dawn ・these new party possibilities will have your guests buzzing for weeks afterwards.

COASTES will be holding its very own special weekend cook-outs with themes ranging from Hawaiian Luaus and New England Clambakes, to BBQ (slow cook) competitions, eye-watering Chilli cook-offs and mouth-watering whole lamb on the spit.

Food at COASTES will be cooked on a purpose-built grill or in the wood-fired oven. The key food philosophy being 奏asty and wholesome・・a welcome change from greasy deep-fried foods or richly-sauced fare. One cooking area is between the two shacks; the other is immediately next to the deck, right on the beach. Specialising in grills, this won稚 be your run of the mill barbeque ・instead showcasing one or two 壮imple foods cooked well・ Rest assured, even our simple grilled chicken will be one of the best in town!

And brunch at lunch at weekends will be ideal for families with kids looking to enjoy a beach get-away without any travel hassles. From pizza & pasta, local favourites and even Sunday roast, the incredibly reasonable food prices range from $8-$16.
