Fans reminiscent of the good old days can now head to Thumper at Goodwood Park Hotel, as John Molina and Krueger rock the house with crowd favourites from contemporary bands such as Radiohead, Green Day and Coldplay, as well as classics from U2 and Pink Floyd…

John and Krueger have become one of the most popular and enduring rock bands around. Over the years, the band has been resident in some of Singapore’s biggest names in the live entertainment scene, including various Europa Group outlets, Fire/Sparks Discos, Red Cafe (Devil’s Bar) and most recently, Rouge at the Peranakan Place.

Back on stage after a year’s break following their stint at Rouge, John Molina and Krueger perform from Thursdays to Saturdays, from 9.30pm onwards at Thumper.

Judging from the welcoming cheers at his opening act in Thumper, Molina has not lost any of the rocker charm that won over a legion of fans since Kreuger’s debut in 1993 at Where Else bar in Cairnhill. The current Krueger features Zari ‘ZZ’ on the Keyboards, ‘Boy’ Pelaez playing the guitar, Selamat ‘Matt’ playing the bass and Fazli ‘Faz’ on the Drums. The market for live bands has been booming, with more clubs bringing in live acts to cater to an increasing audience. Krueger was brought on board as the latest in the line-up of Thumper’s signature bands, catering to the club’s following of live music enthusiasts.

“The management decided to engage John Molina and Krueger as John is a personality that many of our patrons have an affinity with. They miss the days when John used to belt out rock songs they are familiar with,” said David Chin, Director, T Entertainment Group.

The new entertainment line-up coincides with the reopening of the club after renovations. The club’s premises have been divided into two different venues with contrasting concepts. A main entertainment arena is where the live band will thrill audiences, after which Thumper will rock to the beats of 5 DJs, DJ Ann, DJ Muddy, DJ Vinnie, DJ Kyle and DJ Clara T.
