Azzucar! Latin Soul Party at Clarke Quay
The only club with a Live Cuban band in Singapore, AZZUCAR! means “sugar” in Spanish. Sometimes used as an exclamation or to describe the sweetness of a woman. Hence, the band is mainly female with five exotic ladies and one guy at an average age of 23 years. Featuring the newest in Latin music…
from Latin Funk, Latin Pop, the most contemporary Salsa, Plena, Meringue and Reggaeton. Familiar English contemporary tunes are also belted out, re-arranged to heavy Latin beats.
Azzucar is a mid sized nightspot with a “clubby” feel. The interior is comfortable, contemporary, friendly and familiar with nothing pretentious. The bar is a generous length. From all angles, the stage is visible with a generous dance floor and good sound systems.
Azzucar’s Specials:
* Authentic great value AZZUCAR MOJITO GRANDE, 2 ounces of Havana Club Rum in a large 15 ounce glass, made the Cuban way.
* Ladies Night, every Wednesday, offers FREE Champagne (all night) for all Chicas Bonitas.

I think that Azzurca is the most pathetic club in Singapore. The place is s**t and the management sucks. A very demanding yet stressful yet rude manager. Please if anyone ever wants to go there, think a million times. It is not worth it.
