Performing ‘live’ on 13 June 2009 at Bump (The Butter Factory) with residents Drem & Mylk, Mobb Deep is a Hip Hop duo that consists of Havoc & Prodigy. The group is perhaps most famous for its landmark 1995 album “The Infamous” and for the single “Shook Ones Pt. II”.
Though the group hasn’t seen a large amount of commercial success, the majority of its albums have been met with critical acclaim, in particular for The Infamous, which is considered an East Coast classic. As of October 2007, the group and its future albums are on hiatus due to Prodigy’s arrest.
TaJuan Perry, better known as Big Noyd, is an American emcee from the Queensbridge projects in the New York City borough of Queens. He is closely affiliated with Mobb Deep, and he is featured on all of their first 7 albums. Since Prodigy’s incarceration, Big Noyd has been filling the spot in the Mobb Deep duo.
