Come June 19 and 27, Time Out Singapore will be organising two large-scale outdoor events – Circus Pop Series 1: Boat Quay and Circus Pop Series 2: Robertson Quay – to coincide with the Singapore River Festival 2009.

Circus Pop Series 1: Boat Quay (BQ)

Date: Friday, 19th June 2009, 9:00pm-1:00am
Location: Stretch from The Penny Black up to BQ Bar
Participating Venues: The Penny Black, Harry’s, Dallas, Cavern, BQ Bar

• A circus-themed unique outdoors party in conjunction with venues in Boat Quay: circus acts, candy floss and much more
• Complimentary drinks and goodies for our RSVPed guests: ice cream, a party pack including drink coupons, and a free flow from 10:00-11:00pm by 6 Drunk Men
• MC Claressa Monteiro to host the night
• Presenting DJ Jon White from the UK to spin from 10pm-1am
• Unique drink and food promotions for the night at all participating venues
• Lighting and decor to line entire stretch in line with circus-pop theme

Circus Pop Series 2: Robertson Quay (RQ)

Date: Saturday, 27th June 2009, 7:00pm-1:00am
Tasting: 7:00-9:00pm
Party: 9:00-1:00am
Tasting Location: Promenade in front of Rainbow Walkway
Party Location: Robertson Quay

Tasting:

• 3 to 5 different restaurants and 2 different wine/beer/alcohol partners to set up tasting booths alongside simultaneous circus pop elements by the river
• Tasting booths will be manned by head staff/management of restaurants and 2-3 signature dishes will be showcased for all. Restaurants will engage with potential clientele, visitors etc. firsthand
• Food and drinks will be served free of charge to first 200 guests who have rsvped with Time Out. Tasting will be available to non-rsvp guests at $20

Party:

From 9:00pm-1:00am, Time Out will stage a large-scale afterparty. Time Out RSVPed guests will enjoy a free flow from 9:00 to 10:00. It will host international DJ Audio Misdemeanour from Sydney- one of the hottest rising talents in the Australian house music scene.
