House Discopark Sessions Presents Das Moth and Cassian (4 Dec)

You lived it, loved it, and now it’s back. This December, House will revive Discopark for another night of cutting-edge international sounds, as two of Australia’s hottest, youngest and most sought-after DJs make their highly-anticipated Singapore debuts.

Das Moth (AKA Tim Sullivan of indie-electro heroes Damn Arms) and Cassian are two rising stars of Australia’s burgeoning disco/electro scene. Associated with the irrepressible Bang Gang 12” label, both have cut their teeth with the best – Damn Arms having toured the world with the legendary Cut Copy, while Cassian is proving to be the secret weapon at Bang Gang’s legendary label parties.

House Discopark Sessions retains all the key elements of its predecessor – young talent, a passion for emerging trends and a commitment to musical excellence.

Staged in Beauty Emporium, House’s latest one-stop transformation space, the sessions look forward to hosting on-the-cusp musical talent in an equally inventive setting: stunning design, crisp sound and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook our stunning tree-lined lawn.

About Das Moth
Das Moth is the “working brain” of Timothy Sullivan, one half of now defunct indie dance group Damn Arms (Bang Gang 12”). After touring the world over, releasing 2 EPS, 1 LP and remixing the likes of Cut Copy, Timothy decided to pack it all up and move to Tokyo, Japan. Currently working on his debut release from his apartment in the heart of Shibuya set for release early next year. Modular Records favourite sons Cut Copy have put up their hands up to release Das Moth’s debut on their boutique label Cutters Records (Midnight Juggernauts, Knightlife, KIM, Voltage). Timothy is currently running a club night at the world famous club, Le Baron De Paris in Tokyo.

About Cassian
The latest stupidly young addition to the roster of Bang Gang 12”, Cassian is whipping up a storm in blogosphere with acclaimed remixes for the likes of Empire Of The Sun, Miami Horror and Bag Raiders. His debut single ‘Final Round’ is a blissfully funky montage video game samples, gurgling bass and gleaming synth stabs.
