The presence of Thai culture has been steadily growing right here in Singapore. And now with the Thai Pop Festival brought in by BMI Global Connections, the culture will thrive! BMI Global Connections is organising their 2nd concert this year, with internationally recognised band, Potato to perform at one of the latest nightspots, Neverland.

Although a newly established nightspot, Neverland located at Orchard Plaza, is already sizzling with action. Neverland presents; “Potato Real Live Concert 2009” one-night show only, is already the second concert held here, only 1 month after the first. This concert however, will be colossal both in size and hype. With a holding capacity for almost 1,000 people, this event will be brimming with excitement! Neverland is known for providing only premium lifestyle entertainment, with this live concert serving as a sample of future entertainments.

Potato, one of the most popular rock bands in Thailand is made up of members Pup (Vocal), Win (Guitar), Ohm (Bass) and Kan (Drums). Potato has won numerous awards for their popularity and since their debut in 2001, they have released 5 studio albums including the latest “Circle” and 3 special albums, all under GMM Grammy, Thailand’s largest music label. Every album is a hit with the fans and music lovers. The band has also held numerous concerts both in Thailand and abroad. Their latest sold out concert in Bangkok was held in June 2009 with an attendance of 6,000 fans.
