City Alive! 2010 – Singapore’s Biggest, Funkiest Street Dance Party

City Alive! 2010 promises to be bigger and more exciting with the party venue now at the tracks in front of the Pit Building. With Space Cowboy (United Kingdom) making his debut appearance in Singapore at the City Alive! 2010, along with other international acts like DJ Sarasa (Japan) and All Area Crew (Japan), it will be a real treat for the party-revellers as they party the night away. Joining these world-class acts are Singapore’s very own DJ Andrew T, DJ Inquisitive and Singapore top B-boys, Radikal Forze to bring the party anthem to the heart of the city.

Organised by the People’s Association (PA) and People’s Association Youth Movement (PAYM), City Alive! is taking place for the third time, moving to a new venue. Held previously along the City Hall front, City Alive! 2009 had an impressive turnout of more than 5,000 partygoers and organisers expect a larger turnout of about 8,000 for the upcoming party in 2010.

Happening on 20 February 2010, at the Pit Building (beside Singapore Flyer) from 10.15pm to 4.00am, party aficionados can expect a night of adrenaline-pumping fun and be entertained by the exhilarating music and dance acts. Tracks in front of Pit Building will transform into a mega dance floor stretching 360 metres. The street party will begin at 10.15pm after the grand finale of the Chingay Parade 2010.

With the skyscape backdrop of the iconic Singapore Flyer, there will be an aerial performance showcasing LED night flyers by GoFlyKite. City Alive! 2010 will be marked by a festive atmosphere featuring music and dance activities taking place throughout the night, from exciting dance battles to sexy party mascots, LED stilt-walkers and festive street revellers can get into the mood by also participating in fringe activities like UV face painting and getting airbrush tattoos. Everyone is invited to experience the effervescence of City Alive! where music lovers and dance enthusiasts get together to party, no matter rain or shine!

Ticketing Information
The minimum age of entry to City Alive! 2010 is 18 years old. Advance tickets are available at all SISTIC authorised agents at www.sistic.com.sg and the SISTIC Hotline via (+65) 6348 5555 at $15 for PAssion Card holders and $20 for general public. Event day tickets will be priced at $28 at the door. All ticket prices include one standard drink.
