Big Ass ‘Live’ in Neverland Singapore
For the first time, Big Ass, one of Thailand’s most popular rock bands plays its first concert in Singapore. For one night, Big Ass will be performing in Neverland, one of the biggest Thai Discos in Singapore on 28 April 2010. Pre-sale tickets are available at $25 available only at the club. Neverland is located at Orchard Plaza, #05-20.
About Big Ass
Big Ass is currently one of the most popular bands in Thailand. Their latest release is Love, their sixth album. It was in 1997 that Big Ass released their very first album. Called Not Bad, it was released under the music label Music Bugs which also was home to most of Thailand’s most seminal and important rock bands. Their second and third album, XL and My World followed in 2000 and 2003. With the unprecedented successes of the first 3 albums, Big Ass quickly swept numerous awards for their work.
To reach out to a larger audience, Big Ass eventually joined Genie Records, a subsidiary of GMM Grammy, Thailand’s biggest record company. Their fourth album Seven (signifying seven years in the music scene) was very successful in terms of awards and popularity. The album was recognized by both major music awards in Thailand: Season Awards, and Fat Awards. Popularity-wise, they were also voted the most popular artist by fellow artists in Fat Awards #3 and nominated for the most popular group in 4th Channel [V] Thai and Music Video Awards. Their fifth full album was Begins with hit songs such as Kha Noi Somkhuan Tai and Prom Li-Kit.
