GREY GOOSE Showcases Perfect Moments Framed In Time
GREY GOOSE, the world’s leading premium vodka, on 1 April 2010 celebrated the Perfect Moments of Emma Yong, Daniel Boey and Wee Teng Wen, three illustrious Singapore personalities in the theatre, fashion and F&B scenes respectively.
Highlighting the GREY GOOSE brand’s endorsement and appreciation of influential leaders in their respective industries, the Perfect Moments Framed in Time celebration marked the beginning of a series of special cocktails, inspired by Singapore’s leading men and women, that GREY GOOSE will showcase for public appreciation.

Mixing one part of memories, a shot of excitement and a dash of surprise, GREY GOOSE Global Brand Ambassador and presenter of Discovery Channel’s “Cocktail Kings” Dimitri Lezinska captured each of the three unique personal experiences in specially-designed vodka cocktails, unveiled at a private event at ONE°15 Marina Club this evening.
“A cocktail is very much like a person – carrying its own personality, style and character. It is essential to understand the personalities of these unique individuals, as well as their personal experiences, to best capture the flavours of their Perfect Moment. The appearance, taste and aroma of each cocktail can evoke different emotions, and tantalise the various senses to re-create that unforgettable experience,” said Dimitri.
Emma Yong, a gifted theatre actress known for her crystal clear voice, highlighted her first solo concert at the Esplanade as her Perfect Moment. “I was single at the time, and felt very independent and empowered as a woman. I decided to make it a very personal and intimate concert where I shared with the audience stories about my life, my family, my childhood, and my experiences as an actress.
Singing the songs that I loved, and opening my heart up to the audience in a way I had never done before was truly exhilarating,” said Emma. Emma’s strength was the key inspiration behind her bold yet feminine cocktail blend of fresh pink grapefruit juice, raspberry syrup and Peychaud’s bitters.
Daniel Boey, a prominent fashion director cum event producer who also hosts a radio show aptly titled “Fashion Police”, remembers his Perfect Moment as a picturesque sunset off the coast of Boracay. “There was complete silence save for the soft sounds of the waves lapping against the side of the boat, and the gentle flapping of the sail against the sea breeze. Surrounded by my closest friends without a mobile phone or laptop, the tranquility I enjoyed was my Perfect Moment,” said Daniel. His beach vacation inspired a mix of GREY GOOSE® L’Orange and kalamansi with Noilly Prat and Peychaud’s bitters to represent the depth of the sea, with the burnt sienna of the cocktail reflecting the colours of the sunset.
Wee Teng Wen, partner of The Lo & Behold Group which operates rooftop bar Loof, The White Rabbit and OverEasy, is a self-confessed junkshop trawler. Teng described his Perfect Moment as a shopping expedition in a giant warehouse on top of an abandoned car park in Bangkok. “I felt like a kid in a candy store, overwhelmed by the sheer visual drama of the space filled with vintage clocks and trinkets. It was a brief but sublime moment that was perfect for me,” said Teng. His moment inspired a cocktail featuring a heady burst of elderflower liqueur, green apple juice and lime juice.
Set against the backdrop of the ONE°15 Marina Club, the Perfect Moments Framed in Time celebration was a prelude to Boat Asia 2010, which GREY GOOSE is proud to be a sponsor of for the second year running. The annual Boat Asia affair will showcase a stellar line-up of sailing yachts, powerboats and super yachts, and GREY GOOSE serves to complement this showcase of luxury living and inspire more Perfect Moments at the event.
