SUNDOWNING. The Party – in collaboration with Beat! is a benefit to support production of the film, as well as a celebration of experimental artists in Singapore. The party will be held on Saturday, 3 April 2010 at Dempsey House. Featured DJs and bands include Ginette Chittick (from Beat! at Homeclub), RTYPE (UK), Sidabitball (France) and more. The night will include new films by Frank Rinaldi and work by local painters and illustrators. A $10 donation at the door garners entrance as well as a free gift upon arrival. Singapore’s experimental art scene, though sometimes difficult to find, is a thriving community of creative people; this night will be a true testament to their collective talent.

About SUNDOWNING

SUNDOWNING is the debut feature film to be directed by emerging filmmaker Frank Rinaldi in May 2010. American-born Frank Rinaldi has been making movies inspired by the Singapore landscape since 2007.

His recent films, Funny Guy and LOWbASiC— both shot in Singapore—have garnered international acclaim. Funny Guy received the Grand Jury Award for Best Experimental Short at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2009.
