David Choi‘s upcoming tour in Singapore will see him take stage at Timbre @ The Substation for three nights between 17 to 22 August 2010. David Choi a native Los Angeles singer/songwriter/producer whose songs and tracks have been heard on NBC, VH1, MTV, A&E, E!, Travel Channel, Style, PBS, Food Network, Disney, and more. He is a YouTube sensation with over 400,000 subscribers and over 65,000,000 total video views. As of July 2010, David Choi is the 9th most subscribed musician on YouTube. Armed with his self-produced album “Only You”, he will be performing at various venues in Singapore.

Strictly exclusive to Timbre however is the Workshop presented by Timbre Music Academy. The 80-minutes Workshop session will see David take participants through his musical journey on YouTube. Interested participants are able to pre-register for priority entry via email music@timbre.com.sg for his Workshop on 22 August, 6.30pm. Since the announcement, due to overwhelming response, the registration for priority entry is now closed. Limited seats are set aside for walk-in participants.

To complement the Workshop, budding musicians are invited to submit video entries via the same email covering either one of David Choi’s originals – ‘Won’t Even Start”, “That Girl” or “By My Side” to be critiqued by David himself. Winner of the best video entry will get a chance to be featured on David’s dedicated YouTube channel and jam with him onstage.

All participants to the Workshop and video competition are eligible for one free trial lesson at Timbre Music Academy should they be interested.

David is also performing one-hour sets on 17 and 18 August, 8.30pm at the same venue.
