Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Doors open at 7:00pm

The Sam Willows is a celebration of life, a melting pot of sounds from dirty blues to gospel-funk, pop-rock to indie-folk, and random images of cats. Born out of a need to make unadulterated, unbound music, the quartet of Narelle, Ben, Jon and Sandra dug up various sound bites of their eclectic music history, forging their own path into the aural atmosphere whilst managing to be only slightly confused.

The quartet are set to release their freshman offering – an eponymous 5-track EP, co-produced by local music arranger Bang Wenfu, and recorded and mixed at Soundfarm Studios. The project delves into the group’s diverse influences, and broaches themes from power to pilgrimage, sacrifice to love.

Expect a night of youthful vitality and soulful vocals, set against a backdrop of a neoblues, folkish and pop-sensible ambience!
