DXO presents DEVOTION-Your House, My House at X2 with JASON. From Hong Kong, Beijing to Hanoi and Manila, Jason has been mesmerising the floor around Asia with his stirring and yet uplifting house music. Having held residencies at some of the top clubs and bars in Singapore since 1989, he is now a regular guest at DXO's Friday nights, Devotion. 'The best thing about music is when it hits you, you feel no pain', the quote by Bob Marley in which Jason strongly believes in and is what drives him in all his sets. It is summer every Friday at DXO. DJ Jason kindles his Friday night revelry with Devotion, mixing from infectious latin vibes to deep soulful House. By the end of the night, your body will be shaking with the good house vibrations.

He's one of our planetary superstars of techno, an unwearied hero of mega-raves and an ace of the three-deck mix. Let's not forget that he's also produced influential singles like 'Sonic Destroyer', 'The Bells' and the heroic 'Purpose Maker' series. However, the man is more complex than he first appears, embodying an artistic ambition, which reaches far beyond simple techno music and is leagues ahead of his fellow DJs.

MISCHIEF with Godwin Pereira

The Deep Underground

Hear the unruly beats in the wind. See a fantasy landscape far and beyond as Godwin Pereira sets out to one heck of a Mischief party.

One of the best DJs in Southeast Asia, Godwin Pereira is a frontrunner in the Singapore's underground club scene.

For a good part of his DJ career, Pereira got around gigs with just a box of records. Afterwhich he would work up the crowd while booze for free. Long gone are those days. Today, he has steadily built up his own distinct standing amongst the international big boys. Godwin has performed alongside Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman, Darren Emerson and Boy George just to name a few.

From small intimate rooms of sweaty party junkies to mammoth spaces such as the Essential NYE 2002/2003 held at the Singapore Expo, Godwin's wizardry on the decks has earned him the No. 1 spot at www.thedjlist.com in Singapore.

'On the edge' is how he describes himself, always pushing further the boundaries of music. Godwin's mashed-up sounds of Funky House, Tech House, Progressive House, Breaks, Tribal, Minimal Techno and Funky Techno create the ultimate wonderland for clubbers.
