Nightlife aficionados have long associated this space with some of the most talked-about parties in town. Opened in early 2006 at the central fountain courtyard of CHIJMES, buzzing Le Baroque cannot help but become the centre of attraction. Its elements of part bohemian, part sophisticate, and full-on exuberance marks it as the new hotspot for group revelry, sheer enjoyment of live performances, and a good night out.
The modern gothic d?cor is a draw for couples as well, with an underlying tone of sensuality underscoring the dance club vibes. From the glimmering iron-wrought chandeliers to the evocatively clad Adam and Eve paintings, guests are dazzled by the attention to detail and comfort in every nook and cranny. Sunburst arches, a supporting Roman column and gold tinged walls surround the main feature bar. Several features compete for your attention ? three framed mirrors behind the bar reflects the golden flow of cocktails and other liquid specialties as they are served by nimble waiters and flaring bartenders. A suspended four metre hanging liquor rack holds a rainbow assortment of bottles and glistening glassware ready to meet your lips.
Toe-tappers who head to the elevated lounge area will find an unrestricted view of the three flat screen TVs from the indulgent lowslung sofas and neatly upholstered stools. A dinner menu serves the hungry from 6-11pm, while a fine supper menu is dished out from 11pm. Finger food lovers may also find ample seating outdoors to enjoy the convivial air of the landscaped courtyard.
Guests need only peek into the sexy washrooms to find boudoir appeal. Specially sourced from the owner?s travels, the walls boast leather lookalike ceramic tiles and the ceiling is finished with red detailing.
