Heat, Singapore Ultra Lounge introduces the latest trendy escape in Singapore's exciting nightlife. Royal Plaza (RP) on Scotts launched a trendy new concept for guests to relax and unwind in the heart of the district, when it reopened in January 2007...

Its ultra lounge, Heat, represents yet another step by the hotel to create unique customer experiences. Lavishly styled with a startling mix of acrylic, wood, marble, crystal, brass and leather, Heat's design is a remarkable combination of opulence tastefully tempered by elegance, and finished with a dash of creativity tempting as the martinis, mojitos and capirinhas served. Patrons should also keep a look out for the special Heat hours where these drinks will be available at a special nett price of S$9.90 while complimentary snacks are served daily between 5pm to 8.30pm.

For the uninitiated, the ultra lounge concept gained popularity in the United States around 2002 when nightclub owners sought to find a differentiating factor to attract the nightlife crowd. Ultra lounges are focused on allowing patrons to socialize in a comfortable, relaxed environment with subdued extraordinary or ambient house type music in the background. Prepare to be entertained by DJs and Bands both celebrity and the lesser known.

The new Heat Ultra Lounge, which seats 85, emphasizes intimate, cozy surroundings to provide a sensual, sophisticated and seductive experience for a discerning crowd. Its music play list consists of the best ambient and Latin house music.

"It can be difficult to find the right places with that certain ambiance, to unwind with friends over tantalizing drinks without loud music blaring in the background. Heat Ultra Lounge is the next big thing for Singapore entertainment and nightlife. The concept is popular in the United States and Europe but has never been explored here before in this genre. Heat is not just another bar but a brand new experience for the senses," said Sean Boyle, Director for Food and Beverage.
