i cannot express how happy i am that i have found this bar/club. since there are no reviews for it, i will write a very detailed one. i'm not going to front at all. even though this place is still relatively empty (maybe because it is still really new), it is the most down-to-earth, real hip hop bar/club i've been to in Singapore (i am from LA), and possibly the only place in Singapore where you can find 151, hypno, alize and other alcoholic drinks (incredible hulks!) at really reasonable prices. the decor is not designer or expensive, it's actually quite ghetto, but the owners and the bartenders are the chillest people you can meet and they actually get down on the dance floor with you! the DJs here REALLY know what's up. not only do they play the hot songs in the states, but they play the good oldies and the must have house party tracks. also, they really know all the different genres. this is the first place in Singapore that i've been to that got HYPHY and the dirty dirty south style correct. this is the most chill hangout place and if you consider yourself a hip hop head, you must check it out. go in, talk to the people and enjoy good, real, unfiltered hip hop. to be real, i'll trade gimmicks and fancy decor for good music ANY DAY. also, for the bboys, they play breaks and old school funk during the earlier hours (or if you request enough). on their website, they say they embrace all the elements of hip hop and i can safely say that they live up to their philosophy. but a warning, if you love reggaeton, you better stick to dbl 0 because they have a strictly NO REGGAETON policy (thank god).
