Do you guys ever step into a "new" club with full of curiosity but step out with anger & disappointment??
I went this place "Helipad" @ central with my customer from Indonesia. We have received with a warm welcome when we step in. As this a my first time going this "new" place, we were curious to look around the place to see if the surrounding & ambience suit us.
Unfortunately we felt the place is too "empty" with just a couple of patrons. So we decided to leave the place to elsewhere without delaying.
But then we were stopped by the waitress, she was asking us to order our first drink before we could step out of the place. She said that the first drink was meant for the cover charge entry. So we told her this is our first time here that we not comfortable with the place & decided to leave. She demands that this is the management regulation for customer.
I told her that if we don't step, how can we know that the place is suitable for us to chill out?? And they did not stated or inform us any entry rules & regulation before we step in.
- Is this how the club management market out their awareness?
- Should the staff informed customer before entry?
- Can't customer have the right to leave the place in such situation??
In order not to make things difficult for either party, we bought a bottle of beer each & left the place. My customer from Indonesia asks me if the regulation rules apply on all Pubs or Club in Singapore?? And I said, through out my 20 years of entertainment life in Singapore & overseas, this is my first time encounter such a "Stuxxd" regulations especially for newly launch Club.
Earning some money from us for first time, But losing two customers forever!! (Sigh!! very disappointed to have such a club in town)
So I hope my experience incident can be able to warn those people out there...!
Cheers,
