as i passed by pacific plaza on sat, there's no queue for chinablack. reason being : its closed. i felt kinda sad when i see the words in caps on jus a plain A4 paper, stickin on the level directory. it simply wrote "CHINABLACK IS CLOSED". i used to frequent there when the music was still good(all night long!!), the drinks were quite ...

The club's layout was okay, soundsystems also not bad. But music choices were very strange. They could suddenly play "Dui Mian De Nu Hai" by ahniu... How the hell do you dance to that? It wasn't even remixed it was the original, everyone was just singing along and wondering what the resident was going to do. Then it was followed by a string of rock songs (which were somehow dance-able to). ChinaBlack, the place for weird music??

i agree that the staff is unfriendly... But what the heck??? We go there to club and not to get to know them rite? Dj Jaz still rocks except for the new Dj... Quite lame... But still CB rulez...

Chinablack staffs really sucks, the music are different frm last time and also the crowds are getting younger and younger. Chinablack will not be the 1st choice for me to club

Chinablack has a cool atmosphere and plays great tracks, however the STAFF there suck big time! If only there is a change of management, Chinablack will be the no.1 choice to club for me. -=ReVo.Chillout=-

This place is for kids and Chinese Singaporeans (not the kind of crowd I like). The music is... er, what music? The DJ really sucks and should get some lessons in blending GOOD dance music. timmy

Chinablack Rocks` The atmosphere is fantastic. The music is cool. My fav R&B. Where else you can go man.. but agreed the Q is always long, seem never ending. But for the music, the waiting is just so worth it. Cheerioz`

I've to agree that the queue is often very long and it'z quite irritatin' to wait outside... But i mus also say the music there is what I've alwayz looked forward.. Hip-Hop and R&B is jus the thine for me... But kinda synchro too... Been there for a consisent of 2 nites.. N I realise that the sequence of the songs are almost the same.. But overall.. I had fun everytime when I'm there...

Personally I really DIG R&B plus Hip Hop Rap sp Chinablack really rocks for me. I don't really like stuff like techno and trance, but Chinablack does it with a tinge of Hip Hop Beats so for the first time in my clubbing life I can actually dance to techno and trance. All cheers to Chinablack as it has now replaced Phuture as my favourite chill out place on Wednesday and Saturday nights!

the queue is F**king long man,, have to queue so long.. and when u get inside not much place to sit liao... the music is nt that good oso liao alot of trance and technos.. and most importantly the crowd is younger and younger.... all the bengs and lians are coming in..

Specific club for Bengs and Lians after the downfall or Sparks, Canto and Fire Disco. I have to admit that if you cannot accept them for who they are you will not enjoy the place but if you really just want an easy night of clubbing, Chinablack's not too bad afterall with it's music and drinks. Still I prefer Venom.

Its tru. $3 drinks and $10 juggies cool. Use to line up 4 at least hour to go Dbl O then lst wk went to Ch Blk. music good but even better that no need to line up and waste precious partying time. Think they easy on age - got in although only 19! Shiok!

Music is still the same and seems much more better with the new age limit proposed. Seldom c those kids there.... Nice place to relax during weekend..... crowd start coming in ard 11+.............

CRAP PLACE THAT DESERVES A CRANE TO RUN AN IRON BALL THROUGH ITS WALLS. CAN'T SAY I LIKE THE PLACE ONE BIT. THINK THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD RE HIRE THEIR MARKETING STAFF AND GET THEIR CREATIVE PEOPLE TO OVERHAUL THE CONCEPT.

Last visit there was lousy... Went to get the membership but service was lousy... serve by this fat b*****d, lousy server, but think he is one of the more senior one there, serving at the VIP area. The server get commision on application of membership, make sure you get the most out of it. Dun let them rush you or trick you into getting on immediately. They try all their might including cheating you. I have since boycotted the fat server... Otherwise, still a good place to hang ard... Good drinks, good music... I will still partyz there but boycotting that server...he sux...

Chinablack is back! Still a great place to party, Music is great! Service is great! Place look great! bengs... only very small group of them left, great! hey! bengs & lians is everywhere in any club, be it the lows, the hip clubs, the posh clubs, anywhere! You can't run away from them! I love the attic, nice change! Compare to Devils or Induz3 of it's kind, Chinablack tops all.

Its a nice place. The staff are great and friendly. Music is quite good. More class with less bengs and lians around. So to all bengs and lians keep away from this beautiful place.

Went to new Attic Bar, I loved it! Very cosy, very friendly feel, not intimidating. Staff really friendly too. Great addition to China Black. Then downstairs place looks great, especially new sitting. Music always good. But toilet still to far from dance floor!!

Its a Big Place. My firend say want to go so was pleasantly surprised. Older crowd than last time and more class. I don't like the smaller toilet, but manager says it is for the bigger bar and sushi counter. Needs a baggage counter. Will be there for the wkrz party on saturday.

Chinablack reopens last Friday! Great change of decor! Seemed to have change security people and house rules. No sneakers and increase age limits. But I think it's a good move as the club seemed to have less ah bengs and lians now! It was going of on Friday!

Went there on Xmas eve. Service staff are great n polite. Not so much Bengs & Lian but the music theres a bit boring. Most of the crowd there are hip and the party atmosphere are quite good. Worth visiting.

is a nice place especially u are vip there. sitting at the guest table. there waiter especially serve u light cigarette for u etc. but is ex sparks.... kindly pls dun go there if u are ah beng or lian.... go music underground or boat quay.

Music is the same practically all the time but crowd can get really fun... Be open minded, bengs and lians have to right to places they wanna go u know!!! Well the most important thing when clubbing is to enjoy not to stand there and participate in absolute mockery..... Every club is fun, depends on the clubber really!!! Staff there are fantastic very friendly but when it gets really pack excuse their ignorance.
