Okay we went out for a Saturday night drink and dance at INK, which is located to the right of the main entrance to the 'Raffle The Plaza' hotel. The Malay doorman out the front was okay though he did give us the look up and down as though checking us out as to whether we were good enough to get in or not. I have no idea as to what is expected of customers before their allowed through the door. However I will say that the bouncer had meticulous manners, being very polite and even taking us in and finding us a table. No Cover charge was needed for a Saturday night, which is a rarity.

The first thing that was very obvious was it is a big Ang Moh hang out, also the crowd was a more mature bunch, I don't know if there is an age limit or not. We walked in at about 9ish and left at 12ish and place wasn't so full yet, again a rarity for a Saturday night. The music was more a type of party - cum - retro music which wasn't to bad at all though, it set the mood for the bar well.

The drinks are a fairly priced (looking over the menu the average prices ranged between $12 - 16 ), definetly cheaper than I would have thought given the market the club is trying to cater to.

Finally impression; the place is good to have a more social night out.. It was a decent club and I could pull out any real negatives from my 3hr visit. If anything the place would have been more fun if it was a bit more happening, though its a new place so maybe by next visit.....

I agree with you about the bouncer's manner... He's quite rude at times hey. Not that great of a place cos people are afraid they're not good enough to get into the club. It's not exactly true but everyone just seems to have that impression glued in their minds "Why bother going to a posh place where stuck up people may be and risk of not getting in when we can go elsewhere where we KNOW it's going to be fun and definitely get in, right?"
