It was near midnight, and terribly, terribly packed. Bloody hell. Can barely walk. I don't understand why they make the R&B room so damn small. It's obviously one of the most popular rooms around. And the main dancefloor was, once again, playing retro music. Ugh. How the hell do you dance to retro music?????

Yesterday was the first time I've been to MOS on a thursday. I wasn't really expecting it to be happening since it was a weekday, but I was pretty wrong! The music was fabulous and it was pretty crowded, though some of the crowd were not too cool.

I'm very disappointed in the attitude of a particular security personnel guarding the (re-entrance) door this morning at 2:15am. I understand the policy of not blocking the entrance. However, he was extremely rude to bark, "Move away!" We, a group of designers, were there with another group of models. The models were also blocking the entrance, smooching and chatting WITHOUT being ordered to move. When asked, the security personnel's excuse was that the models had other friends coming in. Well, I also had other friends coming in. While speaking to him, he was still rude, defensive and clearly there was double standard in the level of service. Was it because Caucasians are suppose to be more vocal while Asians are easily bullied? As a supposedly world class club, this poor level of service is extremely disappointing. And this is definitely not the first time. Customers pay to have a good time and not to be barked at, ordered around and treated unfairly. I have clubbed in London and their security staffs were polite and treated people with respect. I believe many adults in their 20s to 30s will prefer to visit another club after the initial curiosity of a new club wears off. Some of my friends already have.

MOS is huge. Like, HUGE. Like, twice the size of Zouk huge. Jeepers! But also very pretty. We couldn't get into Pure, which was packed from kickoff, so we gave up on the match. 54 might be my favourite hangout (particularly those cute little hanging seats), despite the cheesy 70's/80's disco and the odd crowd that seemed either extremely young or quite a bit older than us. Smoove is like, Cocco Latte, but twice the size, and with a Phuture crowd. The main floor was just... I can't think of a word. I didn't really like the crowd, somehow. But the toilets were smashingly fantastic. Say, six times the size of the Zouk ones. LOL. And much, much nicer, too. The dressing tables with the plush seats and lighted mirrors are just what clubs need to entice their female customers.

Yes, the Ministry of Sound had me impressed. Great music genres, a different space for different tastes, and decor that can put many a club to shame. I was grinding to Dr Dre and Ciara, having disco fever with ABBA, and in a trance to house. All under one roof. It was a great experience. My fav was the layout in Studio 54, which reminded me of another club at the MGM Grand at Vegas with the same name. Very retro. Very psychedelic. Purrfect...

T?was my second time to Ministry Of Sound. I like MOS. I like their music. I like the unique way they split their rooms into themes and different genre of music. Bored of hiphop/r&b can go retro room. Pure is my favorite room. Pure made up in many areas that MOS was lacking. If only I had a better camera phone, I can show you with pictures what words can?t describe. Btw, Pure plays disco house/soul/funk. Nevermind the music, soak in the pure atmosphere that Zouk?s member area cant provide. Sorry Zouk, MOS is really well ahead in this...

Hit the best club I've ever been to in my life. Lasers - lights - waterfalls of ice-water mist....the best soundtrack I've ever heard, beautiful girls...but not as beautiful as the one in my mind... The club was called Ministry of Sound and was really amazing. Stayed for about 5 hours and I danced for four of those straight. Sore this morning and a bit groggy from the six-pack of tiger that I downed as my friends and I sat up late talking on our balcony high above the streets. I am the best dancer in southeast Asia right now...that much is true.

Eh guys... If you ever go to a club and wondered where are all the peeps? The answer is Ministry of Sound!! How did I arrive at this conclusion you may ask? I actually did a survey over Fri and Sat evening.... Loadsa peeps and lllllllllllladies... *umphh* Because MOS is so friggin' huge, it didnt seem packed albeit the "Friday Crowd". I liked it there....I actually like crowds? But I kinda deny that when asked by peeps.... Not that I dislike crowds, I enjoy being in it and people watch but I hate sweaty people standing close to moi. Especially at the dance floor... The girls will dance amidst the crowd of preying dudes, get so warm and perspire. Then their hair will stick onto their faces. So nope. being WET in this context turns me super off. Tee hee....Anyway, whatever happened at MOS stays at MOS. It's history anyway, no point raking.
