6 yrs on and Friday nights at Phuture are still THE place to be for Flava, the night with Andrew Chow, pioneer of the urban beats way before they became the sound du jour, with his inimitable style of funk, hip-hop and R& B. Feel the energy, taste the Flava!

Fridays with Jeremy Boon

On airwaves across the globe in the past month alone, Jeremy’s stellar commissioned mixes have been featured on the cult J-Wave Tokyo and more recently Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Radio show, the seminal programme dictating the best in soul, jazz, hip-hop, hous e and funk on Radio 1. On local airwaves you can also listen to Jeremy every Friday on Lush 99.5 fm on the Lush Private Reserve Show from 8pm to 9pm, the perfect warm up to your weekend.

Holla! with Nervous

Shouting out to all hip hop fans! It’s Saturday night grind time with DJ Nervous, dj battle alumnus and regular on the San Francisco club circuit to dish out the best in hip hop, soul and R&B, from classics to the latest chart toppers, Holla!

Saturdays at Velvet Underground with Hong

Add a dose of versatility with a dollop of talent, mix well with an innate ability to drop the funkiest tracks at the most opportune time and you have a taster of DJ Hong. Hong’s foray in music started with none other than Zouk a decade ago, after a break to pursue other interests, it didn’t take long for the allure of bright (strobe) lights and big city (tunes) to prove too much for him to bear. Here’s where the story ends and his love affair with dance music and Zouk begins again. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Karizma and Theo Parrish and always an impact maker, this after dark veteran has won numerous hearts and ears at various clubs and bars with his sonic feast of house, techno, electro, disco and what not....resistance is futile.
