Bellini Room
Start spreading the news because your good ol’ high-rolling pal Bellini has swung in from town, and –with a click of the fingers- is now laying it down at St James Power Station. The Bellini schtick keeps it slick and mixes in the glitz with a fine-and-dandy joint for putting on the ritz or simply swinging your thing the way you like it. So, whether you jitterbug or jive, you’ll soon catch the vibe with our cool-cat quartet laying down tunes jazzed up just right for the night.
Boiler Room
The Boiler Room is, as the name suggests, boiling hot in terms of its entertainment value! Spanning a wide range of genres, from pop and rock to soul and R&B, the live music played here will knock your socks off. Be sure to let your hair down!
Dragonfly
The atmosphere at Dragonfly positively buzzes! From the moment Happy Hour kicks off at 6pm, with a selection of Mandarin evergreen favourites played by the two resident bands, right to the full-show segment which boasts 3 resident bands plus 9 singers and 6 dancers! There are even guest performers who perform for a different mando-pop experience every night.
Gallery Bar
Kick back, unwind and relax at the Gallery Bar. This bar lounge invites sophisticated patrons with alluringly luxurious comfort in a cosmopolitan setting. From its second-floor perch in the complex, the Gallery Bar offers guests a spectacular bird’s eye view of all the other outlets at St James.
The Lobby
The music may be unplugged, but the atmosphere is electric… It’s gotta be The Lobby! St James likes to keep in tune with what you like, and proudly presents our newest corner – a cool spot that’s got just what you want with all your acoustic favourites played live in a perfect place to unwind. And with comfy daybeds and deluxe seating, here’s where you can relax to the max.
Mono
Simplicity in song and style – that succinctly sums up Mono, a monochromatic themed karaoke venue that houses a bar with seating for 50 people, and 10 uniquely designed rooms for those who are a little shyer about their talents. Built in with an extensive music catalogue, a high-quality sound system and comfy plush interiors, Mono is an outlet designed to be a treat for those who enjoy belting out their own favourite tunes for a change.
Movida
Although “movida” means “party” in the streets of Cuba, guests here are treated to an international repertoire of sounds and rhythms. Clean, minimalist lines complement the intimacy of the bar, setting a warm and mellow mood. Live it up here to the pulse of Africa, the beats of Caribbean, the melodies of the Middle East, the vibes of South America and more. With a myriad of world music coursing through the air, Movida is a place where everyone can feel welcome.
St James Wine Bar & Bistro
St James Wine Bar & Bistro, an European & Mediterranean influenced bistro, serves up a delectable array of tapas-style snacks, specially designed for sharing.
Powerhouse
At 10,000 ft, Powerhouse is St James’ largest outlet. Reflecting the building’s unique architecture, the main room, bar and terrace are all set in a raw and industrial design. Youthful revelers and avid clubbers hop and bop to a massive collection of party beats spun by resident DJs. What really energises this Powerhouse, though, is high performance AV technology and a cavernous 5-storey high ceiling, creating an electrical atmosphere that no other club can offer.
Peppermint Park
For those who want a breath of fresh air, then Peppermint Park is the place to go. Despite its quirky moniker, Peppermint Park is a favourite watering hole for professionals unwinding with a few good drinks after a long hard day in the rat race. Set against the backdrop of the heritage building that is St James Power Station, patrons at Peppermint Park can gaze across at the fluid design of VivoCity while breathing in the cool sea breeze.
The New Paper Sports Bar
You can be sure that fans of The New Paper Sports Bar know the score. No matter what team you support or which side you’re on, this is another hot pit-stop where we screen all the big games. Whether you’re playing the field or happy just watching from the bench, you can catch the action here all in good sport.
